Minwax launches new finishing products

Minwax has a new polyurethane finish and two new stain colors

Minwax, one of the most popular and well-known wood finish manufacturers, has developed three new finishing products: two colors of stain, and a new polyurethane formula.

Gunstock and Red Chestnut bring the Minwax interior stain palette up to 21 colors. Gunstock is a light reddish-brown color, while Red Chestnut is a darker reddish-brown. Gunstock has already proven to be one of the most popular colors in Minwax’s pre-finished floor selection.

High-Build Polyurethane promises a durable, protective finish in only two coats. Normally, polyurethane depends on a number of light coats for best results, but this new formula is designed to work without the extra labor. It is available in gloss, semi-gloss, and satin sheens. All three are available in most hardware stores and home improvement centers.
