I like these decorations. I've asked at several local stores and no one locally sells acrylic sheets though. Nice bonus was the added patterns for free download. To my surprise the article is nowhere to be found to comment on.

I like these too. The article is in issue #33 pages 50 - 52 and written by Paul Meisel. Sloans carries the acrylis sheets. There are six patterns in the article. Nice to have the additional patterns online.

Thanks Denny. I just happen to have that issue. I'll head over to Sloan's and take a peek.

Hi Mike, You can also find acrylic at plastics shops. There are several TAP Plastics in the Seattle area which carry it, although they appear to be a bit more expensive than Sloan's (but Sloan's doesn't carry bulletproof). --Rob

Paul Meisel
Paul Meisel's experience in woodworking and design is extensive. During his 10 years as an industrial arts instructor, Mr. Meisel realized the need for project plans that the beginning woodworker could manage. He began designing projects that excited interest in students, yet did not exceed their skill level.

Realizing the need for well-designed plans for the school as well as the home-hobbyist woodworker, he and his wife, Pat, set about creating a mail order company for the distribution of these plans. They took their unique concept one step further by offering many hard-to-find specialty hardware parts. This company, Meisel Hardware Specialties, has become one of the nation's leading project plan and woodworking supply companies. more
