The maple leaf jewelry box was designed by Gary MacKay and the pattern was in the Fall 2006 issue of SSW.
The box was cut out of 1/4 inch maple with walnut accents and finished with a polyurethane clear satin.

Looks great Trout. Are the leaves an inlay, as in tilted table inlay? I never see anyone do this type of work.

Excellent work on that! I looked at that pattern and decided that my skill level was not yet up to inlays .. I have a hard enough time cutting a straight line hehe.
