Elks and fox in the country. That was my project for the Best Project Design Contest 2011 SSWC... Dan, a Dutch friend told me: "... Simon, you didn’t win, but you didn’t lose! You created something very nice with your own hand and skills..." Ok, the winners are better!

Wood:
Background: plywood poplar recovered on trays (box) for fruit in the rebus.
Frame side: Fir Fir, barer and all trees: pine in different part of the plate to have different colors; Fox and Elk lying: cherry wood
Elk standing: French walnut
Grass: White plywood poplar recovered on trays for fruit in the rebus.
Finishing plate: basswood (linden) with bark; Trunk of external Fir: small branch with lichen cut. Cutting trunk: small branches of basswood. Dimensions: 14.7 x 12.59 x 1.98 inches or 37.5 x 32 x 4.8cm.
Painting: painting acquired with the 3 primary Acrylic color: magenta, cyan, yellow.
Varnish: glossy polyurethane varnish.
