Default Vase from Carole's book on wooden bowls

This vase is not done as yet and is dry fitted to see how well it will look. I think it looks great so far and I'm proud of it too. Now lets see what it will look like when it is done...... Fay

Fay
With the way you sand and finish your work, I'm sure it will turn out immaculate.

Best regards

It is almost done. I have all the pieces sanded and the neck glued on so when the glue cures I have more sanding and finishing to do on it and then will snap a picture or two and go from there. Turning out real good tho it is not perfect, but a great vase for a first one. Thanks for all the nice complements on it. Fay

You have come a long way in a short amount of time. The vase is looking good so far can't wait to see it finished.

No Ray.. I got t his pattern from Carole's book on wooden bowls. I have seen a plan for a bee hive thing some time ago but not sure where I saw it. It was on some sort of a wood working sight. Fay

Diana Thompson has a plan for a small beehive box. See my thread about it here - Question about bevel cutting and table tilting

The vase is looking good so far Fay. I can't wait to see it when it is done!
