Default New work in progress: Old building and lanscape

Actually made it kind of small in comparison to the sizes I usually cut.

Just out of interest, are all your pieces built as commissions, or just as the mood takes you for your own amusement?
Just curious as my building these days is mainly driven by what I've been asked to make rather than picking and choosing myself.
Anyhow, keep up the great work!
:-)

I almost never get sales of my finished work lol...so I tend to just cut what my mood tells me to. I try to be diverse on occasion to see what appeals to folks.....

That is a nice pattern, I can't wait to see it when it's done.

Looks GREAT! I'm too am looking forward to seeing the completed piece! It looks very detailed...how do you transfer your pattern to the wood?

Ah, I envy you the freedom to be honest. My hacking and bashing efforts are purely a spare time effort (the full time job does tend to get on the way unfortunately), but it can very easily take over every spare minute if you're not careful when you're trying to keep up with 'just one more little commission'. Just once in a while it would be nice to make something of my choosing for a change!
Getting commissions is wonderful, but it can tie you down really badly - for years!

Thanks everybody. I use carbon paper to put the pattern on the wood...and rapidresizer.com to enlarge or reduce pattern size. Here's some more progress:
