Default Sealife puzzle

I wanted to make this when it first came out a few years ago. I am doing a show at a yacht club in May and thought this would be perfect for it. I just love the way the box elder came out. Hubby is making the boxes on the table saw using his dubby, whatever that is. As long as I don't have to touch the table saw, it is fine with me. I used box elder, poplar, black walnut, cherry, sassafras, and blue pine. The white pieces are also box elder. This is all scrap wood, which is why it took me a little longer to lay it out.

I love the choice of wood you used. Thanks for reminding me of one of my favorite puzzles. When I cut them, I stack cut 4 layers of 1/8" ply in four varieties and then play mix and match to complete each puzzle. Do you plan to give a picture of the completed puzzle with each one? I do, because it is very difficult to put together without it.

And spoil the fun George? LOL. Hadn't thought to do that. Making some more along with Kim's fish dresser box. They really aren't all that time consuming to cut. Just using scraps of wood I kept changing my mind what piece to cut out of what wood. I'm cutting 3 more, one of cherry, one blackwalnut, sassafras and the same pieces out of the box elder I have left over. Hubby is making my other 3 boxes tomorrow for me. Takes him about 5 minutes to do the cutting.
