Default Eagle Scout present

We have been invited to the Eagle Scout Award Ceremony for our next door neighbor's son next Saturday. We have known Matt for his entire life and I thought that I would make him something. I took the 3-D wildlife scene from the Longabauer book Scenes of North Am. Wildlife and added the letters ( 48 point Cooper Black Bold). It does not have a finish on it yet. I will put it on later today and post another picture. It is 14" wide by 10" tall and is cut from various varieties of plywood.

I have another blank ready for his brother Nick when he gets his award.

As usual, all constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.

I finally got the last of 4 coats of poly, along with a hanger on the back, on the award. Here is it's picture. I will give it to him on Saturday at the ceremony.

Thanks for all the nice comments folks. I showed it to Matt's mom yesterday and she fell in love with it. I can't wait until he sees it.
