Default kitty Cat Eye glasses holder, not a nose.

For a change it is not a nose. The blue one on the right is one I've had for years and years and I thought I would try to make one. I don't recall where I got the blue one and it is pretty much a mess so I wanted to try making a newer one. I couldn't decide on the color to paint it so I put a finish on it but it wasn't put yet when this picture was taken. I drew it out and then cut the pieces and then glued it together. There is a bevel cut on the original one, but I have not learned how to do that on my scroll saw as yet and I was afraid I might wreck it so I sanded it down to a bevel. fFrst I tried making a stand for it but that didn't work out good. I gave one of the noses I made to our hair dresser and she thought they were so cute. Enjoy have a great day Fay

Maybe when we get back from AZ I will try to make my drawing of the pattern pieces better and the thickness of the wood and such better and post it. I will have to have a working scanner to scan it into the computer. I don't know where I got the original one or when I got it. I've had it since I lived in the Seattle Wa area and that was many years ago. With my luck I could have bought it at a yard sale. Any way, they are easy to make and kind of fun too as one can make it with different expressions and the like. I should try to make a dog or a pig or some thing of sorts. Thanks for the compliments. Have a great day Fay
