Default Need some ideas

Looking for some suggestions for a paint scheme.
It a mini whirligig. The pattern is from Steve Good.
Made from scrap 3/4", 1/4" Pine and poplar. The prop is scrap 1/2" ply.
Got the bugs worked out on my prop cuts and they are are looking much better than this one. This will get a new one with spinner and bushing

Looks a bit like a P-40. Make it a Flying Tiger.

Looks something like a Curtis P40 from the beginning of world War II. If you want something true to that time, the color sceme for the Army Air force at that time was: top fuselage and wings either a green/light-brown two-tone camouflage or overall green all out. The belly and undersides were a light blue. Feel free to add a shark nose. The national insignias were the old US roundels of a white star in a blue circle (no red and white 'wings' yet, those came later) . They were displayed on each side of the wing, top and bottom, and on both sides of the fuselage. P40's were given to England and Russia as military aid and flew for China with the 'Flying Tigers', so you can replace the insignia with a red Russian star, a blue-white-red RAF roundel. The Chinese insignia is the same blue circle as the US one, only instead of a white 5-pointed star it has a white 16-pointed 'sun'.
