After 40+ years trying to outwit his grey squirrels Dad has finally admitted defeat or at least a draw. To celebrate the truce I'm building this feeder for him. The back is not yet in place. I'll finish sealing and assembly today. I found the plans at Birds and Blooms Simple Squirrel Feeder | Birds & Blooms

Good job. I like it a lot! I've seen these plans before and have always said I was gonna make one. Someone was asking about food...we feed our squirrels peanuts and dried corn, so I know they love both of those!

| Peanuts and corn, seeds. They aren't too picky.

I can't believe he waited 40 years to give in. Persistent, isn't he? I used to have a bird feeder and gave up about a week after installing it. I found it rather amusing to watch the squirrels. But then some have told me I'm easily amused. Great job. I can see a big fat squirrel laying in that glass jar stuffing goddies in his mouth.

| Jim, It's just a small lazy susan bearing on a piece of scrap. I bought 10 of them. I've got some Keurig coffee carousels to make and a few extras never hurts. This link is the best pricing I've found. Wood Craft Products - Wooden Shaker Pegs, Balls, Wood Toy Wheels
