Default Finally getting some fun work done

Lot's of irons in the fire but a little progress on a few.
Will get my grandsons 1st communion cross assembled and finished tomorrow.
More to go with it. Hope I can get it done by Saturday.
Got the kitty in a tree cut. It's part of another project but has to wait awhile. I stack cut them. One is 1/8 BB and the other is 1/4" Lowes 3ply.
Wish I could work like I used to.

Dave, The cross is cut in 1/4" BB and is inset. The rest is two pieces of butternut I glued up to make it wide enough. All of it is inset as well to raise the frame.
I also forgot to mention I purchased the pattern from Sue Mey.
I'll be posting pix of it assembled later today.
When you cut the Kitty in a tree watch for the small cutouts. They will get under your work and cause angle problems.
Have fun with it. I think it will look good when finished.

Here is Adam's cross. I still have to shape the edges and sand it to 400 and build a nice clear acrylic finish. It can be a wall hanger or be displayed in the stand.
It's all butternut except the cross itself, it's 1/4" BB. All three pieces of the stand are The letter A for Adam. He'll like that.
