Mother-in-law :::: - Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts Message Board

My wife wanted me to do a portrait of her Mother, for her Mom's Birthday & this is the one she chose. It is of her Mom just before her marriage, she is 82 yrs. young this month. Used bbirch ply & frame is 8x10 purchased. I did the pattern with pencil. Her Birthday is Jan. 30th. Thanks for looking.

I've never seen them ladies get old,Perk.They always stick to the pre marriage age,lol.
Nice pattern.I also use pen for making patterns.
I think it is a combination of burning and scrollsawing work.
Well done altogether.

Hi, Frieda, I have a question for you. I didn't do the hair as dark as I wanted & I was wondering if you had a suggestion on burning or scrolling more of it? Thanks
