Default wife's birthday present continued again

I'm gonna make the dead line almost. I'm not going to get the hinges done by tonight.
Everything is glued and a few more coats of clear acrylic and sanding.
You have heard me mention liking the 3 ply birch from Lowes. The box bottom is made from that wood and you are looking at the bad side.
