Default More on wifes Birthday present

I'm building a matching box for the portrait. The box is butternut and the cover will have looping wood ribbons and bows. I decided to do this because I hate wrapping gifts. The insert is stained cherry and the frame will be stained dark cherry. All will be finished in clear acrylic including the box and ribbons.

Rob -- I don't like wrapping either, but to make a box and ribbon seems like it might take even more effort than the scotch tape, (or scotch and tape) and scissors and paper and ribbon.

They won't let me have sharp or sticky stuff once I hit the whiskey

I don't know if I'm being brave, dumb or both. I'm want to hinge the cover.
