Default Top Wars

Getting ready for my grandson. Sorry for the poor pictures. I have to finish sanding and put a finish on it. I built a stand to balance the spinners and balanced this one.
I'll re balance it after I finish it. No Mercy on him this time.

I'll get some pics of the stand tomorrow. It's really simple. Just like the one you would use to balance props for rc planes and boats. The props for fast rc boats are balanced and sharpened like razors.
I haven't got one to make a noise yet. Thought about attaching whistles of some kind but there could be a risk of flying parts because they spin so fast.

Gosh it's not my project. I think Badger started us all with the tops. I'll check for the original thread.

Thanks Rob. Here is a link to the original post with the pattern by Badger: http://www.scrollsawer.com/forum/new...igns/32443.htm

I think I'll have to try my hand at making a top tomorrow.
