Default First communion cross

I just cut a Sue Mey design First Communion Cross. Of course it was too big at 18" x 11.6" so I reduced it to 60% so it is now 10.5" tall x 6.75" wide. Shrinking it down made cutting some of the details a bit tricky.
It will be a gift and right now it is just sitting on a piece of spanish Cedar. I am not sure that it is dark enough so I am waiting for some walnut as an alternative backer. The backer will be rounded over and obviously the whole thing will have a finish on it.
The cross itself is 1/8 Baltic birch, I cut it 3up using a 2/0 Olson blade.

Love it! Some of that detail looks so delicate Rolf!! I'm anxious to see what the walnut would look like. Would you please post a picture when you get it??

You've done an awesome job Rolf, especially since the size of that design was reduced.

Way cool Rolf, you did a great job on the cutting. And another great pattern from Sue. I like those delicate tiny cuttings. And i'm curious too to see it on a darker wood.

Very nice ROLF, great cutting, I know it is tricky when downsized as I don the Nativity cross, and for some reason I use the olson 2/0 blade. Keep up the good work. Edward
