Default tooth

I played around with the tooth pattern and came up with a few different uses besides a tooth pick holder .

The largest I could cut was 2" . That's all the clearance on the Dewalt .
When I started cutting I noticed the plastic on the screw handle was hitting the wood . I cut the side which was hitting .

I had ordered a repacement screw which originally cost $10.00 ,sh cost $9.00When put the new screw in I noticed it tightened to a clear position and didn't hit the wood .

The wood needs to be painted but not sure which colour .

What I managed to come up with is a tooth pick holder , candle holder , pencil/ pen holder and a tooth brush holder .

A small tooth could be cut to hang around one's neck .

Photo's are not very good but they give you the idea .

Slam the ideas if you like .

Roger

G'day Roger, you have more teeth there than I have in my head

I've toyed with the idea of making the tooth pic holder for my BIL, he a rep for a dental supply company.

You do know that the Tooth Brush was invented by a Red Neck????????? Because if it wasn't. it would be a teeth brush.

Hey Rog - good to see you back in the shop and posting projects.

I love your tooth brush holder - that is a cool idea! I like the size you made for a kiddies holder plus maybe a bigger one cut on the bandsaw.

Where did you get the pattern from pal?

Thanks guys . Finally coming out of a cranky back problem . I can actually sit and enjoy the web.

The pattern is in the Creative Woodworks and Crafts mag. June 2004 .

The band saw will cut the outside of the tooth . Drilling and sanding may clean up the inside. Now that I look at the pattern , you could skip the base and cut the inside and add the base later .

I'll see if I can find the pattern.
