Default Carousel Horse

I was having a hard time starting my latest project, so posted in the intarsia section to see if I was the only one. Now there is a challenge to get some started projects done, and some unstarted projects started....
I did get mine started -

This will be a beautiful project, I am waiting to see how you progress. My DIL loves Carousel horses but I'm not sure I'm ready for intarsia.

See, see, I told you you would get to post pics while I was at work!!

Theresa, kidding aside, this looks like an ambitious and wonderful project and definitely looking forward to see it as you progress. I hope to have pics of my project this weekend.

SO first point goes to you!

Thanks everyone!
Dragyn - first points to me maybe, but it's going to be a long time before it's finished.

Hi Anne - the horse itself is about 24 inches long x 21 inches high. I am planning on making an oval backboard for it to go on, so overall it will be a little larger.
