We had our first meeting last night at the Richmond Woodcraft and must say we made some fine looking sawdust. Our first project is the making of our group sign . Last night we started by cutting out the letters which are made from holly on walnut cut at a 6 degree angle for a 3-d effect. We had 7 members show up and all had a great time.
That's me trying out one of those yellow saws.

Our Woodcraft Man, Tom stopped in to get in on the fun.

It's a good start with more fun to come.
