Default plaque for son and friends

My son and two of his friends just completed all of their course requirements for their PharmD degrees, which will be awarded next month. I designed a plaque and stack cut the design in three pieces of 15" x 17" 1/8 bb ply. Next I will tape each name on one of the plaques and cut it out separately. I will then make some frames for them and present them at a weekend long party my daughter-in-law is throwing for them in two weeks. Should be fun. Here is a picture of the design. I blanked out the last name for privacy reasons but it balances nicely. The blank rectangle below the name originally had 2009 in it but I took it out of the final design because it didn't look right; too crowded in the middle. I'll post the final cut pictures and the framed plaques when I am done.

All the med stuff is something I wouldn't have thought of and certainly will set these plaques off nicely George.Great idea. But what is the top middle pic? That was the only one I did not recognize. I'm not criticizing the drawing, I just can't figure out what it is Oh, congrats to your son on getting his degree!

Lookin good. Its gonna be hard to freehand cut the name though since somebody spilled bleach on your piece and removed the lettering!

Thanks all. Jerry, it's a pill press. Very old fashioned but probably still used in some places. The parallel lines represent grooves of different sizes. You put the pill paste in the press and by pushing the top piece along, you roll out a pill.
Now that I have spent a day + cutting, I goofed. Cut the lines for the bottles, press, mortar and pestle with a #2 blade. It's made too narrow a kerf to see the backer through. Tried recutting with a larger blade and found it very difficult to stay in the kerf to keep the shapes. Decided to recut the entire piece. Reprinted, repatterned ( a little larger this time) and am now cutting with a #7 blade. Much better except for the hanging piece I have to glue back on so I can finish cutting the snake. Oh well.... Keep you posted.
