Smile Cats Puzzle

Hi everyone,

I just finished cutting the Cats Puzzle found on page 49 of the Holiday Ornaments Toys and Gifts. I still have to sand and finish the project. As suggested before, I will stain the oak both light and dark to give the contrast as shown in the magazine.

Looking good Denny, are you planning to cut the mice too?

Really like the look of it in raw oak. The grain really lends itself well to the overall look of the project.
You dun good!

Hi Jim, thank you for the comment. Are you suggesting leaving itunfinished, or using something like tung oil?

Looks good to me too, I like the idea of seeing two different stains on the wood adds depth. Now if you really wanted to stain each cat a different stain color. Using Artist oil paints would be a suggestion for the stain colors. When I learn how to scroll puzzles I'll try my own advice. LOL
