Default A work in progress

Taking me a while 'cause I'm picky about detail, but couldn't wait to show it. Sadly I can't sell it or the pattern 'cause it's from someone's art. Sad too 'cause it's so hard to find good Native American women pics. It is 16 3/8 wide by 25 1/16 tall out of dumpster wood (birch I think). The area around the hair and shoulders (the background) will be cut out.

Looking real good, Charlie. Can't wait to see the finished project.

Now THAT one is an indian piece I could see being a pretty popular one, perhaps you can track down that someone and get their permission! On this piece, did you use graphite paper to apply your pattern to the wood?

Yes I have always used "carbon paper" to put my patterns on the wood. I'm trying to track down the artist but most of them want $100 or more to use their work and being on disability I just flat don't have it. It would definitely be worth it though.

That is going to be amazing when it is finished! Can't wait to see it. Good luck on getting the rights to sell it.
