Default Troutbuilt, stage 2

this thread will be showing the progress of the cab to my Troutbuilt truck..
being that the frame is walnut and cherry, I decided to make the cab out of maple with padauk stripes.

this is one of two stripes that will be running around the cab.

you can veiw stage 1 here: TroutBuilt Truck

Default thing have gone good up to this point...

it's time to put it over the top...
the hand rails on the cab...I could install them sticking out from the side of the cab...

or inset them in....

I tell ya, that was pretty nerve racking 2 hours just for the one side. if I can get the other side to come out as good as this side I'll be good. I sure would hate to scrap this cab and start over...
I did get some chipping at the bottom of the padauk, I can live with it but I wonder if there is anyway of fixing the chips? how about that Elmers glue that can be stained, if I add some Padauk to it will that help fill in the chips....

onto the other side...wish me luck
