Default My Dome Clock Construction

Well I promised I'd post pictures of the Dome Clock I'm building when I made significant progress. I'm slow but sure. The base and first floor are complete. I'm using cherry with walnut for accent pieces and lamp posts and soft maple for the steps.
The pictures attached also show several pieces I've cut for the second floor. This thing is a monster project for someone who cuts at the speed I do, but I'm enjoying it and learning a lot as I go.
I know many of you have seen these clocks before and several have built their own so please bear with me for posting yet another Dome Clock.
Thanks,
Ralph

You are doing a fine job with the Dome clock. It brings back memories of when I made one.
Will be nice to see it all finished.

That is looking awesome. One of these days I may tackle that clock but not in the near future. Steve

Hey Ralph,

Absolutely outstanding, your wood choices are spot on, and the cutting is fantastic, thanks for sharing this.
It would have been nice if you took the pictures in your shop instead of the clean room at the hospital,LOL.
Great Job, keep those pictures coming.

Great looking work Ralph, I have thought about doing the dome clock, but my house is not big enough for it.

The only problem I see is your workshop is too neat. Needs more sawdust. And turn down the stereo.
