| A work of Art Ralph. I wish my wife would let me build one. She looked at it and said it was beautiful. But told me not to build it, unless I build a room on the house to store it in. Great job, what are you going to do now?

| Beautiful Work!! I really like what you did with the upper posts. I think they look much better compound cut than turned. Wish I had thought of that.

| Besides saying things like "Holy Crap that is totally aweseome!" and "you've built something we all dream about doing" I don't know what to say.
Thanks so much for letting all of us be a part of your project.

| Thanks for the kind words folks. Rolf, I stopped trying to keep up with the hours. There would be some periods of several days when I didn't get to the shop at all and some evenings where about 30 or 45 minutes was all the time I had. Early on I was able to spend all day on it several times. I only know the total number of hours would be in the hundreds. I'm not a fast cutter. I really enjoyed the time spent.
Pajaro, I'm finishing up an owl portrait I started before the clock and recently bought a lathe. It's really been an amazing addition to my woodworking expertise. I'm now able to take ordinary scrap wood in the shop and make it round scrap wood!
Thanks for looking and your comments are much appreciated!
