Cool New Pics of MLT-13

Hi folks,
Thought I'd share some more pics with you. I put in a couple of big days and nights over the weekend and it's all but finished. It runs.....Not for long though. Got a few tight spots and a minor pendulum issue to sort out, but it works. I'm super impressed with myself.
Now...it's Beer o'clock.

Nice! My dad would love a clock like that, but I don't think I have it in me to make one. You must have to be very precise to keep time accurately.

Looks good Mark. The MLT 13 has been on my list for awhile I guess I should get out the plans and give it a try.

Karen wooden geared clocks are a challenge but if you take your time cutting and test fitting as you go they are usually not that bad.

Cool Clocks..The insanity quotant.

Thanks Tim,
You hit the nail squarely on the head. Accuracy when cutting and shaping. Give it a go Karen. What do you have to lose. Ply is fairly cheap.
Might try one of Tim Detweiler's locks next, maybe his three number combination and fit it in a wooden safe door. His book has a picture of one at the back.
We'll see....

The GW and the hour pinion are on the same shaft. The gears should fit snug so the shaft turns instead of gears turning on the shaft.
