Default dye storage?

I mixed up some dye powder this weekend. I put it in denatured alcohol as suggested by the instructions on the dye. My question is - I put the mix in mason jars. Is this a good way to store the unused dye?

Thanks,
Steve

I would think placing some plastic wrap over the top prior to putting on the lid may help in slowing down the evaporation.

I put the sealed lids and rings on the mason jars, so I'm not worried about evaporation. I'm more concerned with the lifespan of the dye. Will it last awhile after being mixed?
