ok, i stained with a minwax stain sealer, then oiled with danish oil, now customer asked if i could make the piece a lil darker, will the re-stain seep past the oil, or is there something else i should do, w/o having to recut? customer also said i could make it black, in which case, i have behlen jet black dye….any ideas on this, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaassssseeeeee?

You might be surprised with what you can get away with with acrylics...

Danish Oil dries to create a semi hard finish so no stain will penetrate. To change color you will need to sand off the danish oil.

You can try putting stain on your sandpaper and sanding..... I've succeeded at touching up missed spots by doing this but I've never done a whole project.

Mini wax is a stain / sealer and with the oil on top of it you should have to sand through both the oil and the stain to get to the wood. Sanding this deep should then cause an uneven re-stain.

Sawyer's suggestion sounds like your best bet.....
