Old Master's Pickling White stain is fantastic for a white stain! Carter Lumber in Mogadore, near you, carries it. Not sure if Hartville carries it.

If you can't get Old Masters Pickling white poly gel locally it is available by mail order from Judy Gale Roberts at Judy Gale Roberts Intarsia. It provides a beautiful white finish and allows the grain to show through. I use it a lot.
