Default Uses for an old Dish Washer.

G'day all,
I was just reading the previous thread re. BLO and this piece of info jumped to for front of the ol' brain box.

I haven't done this..................
I read about it many years ago.

For oiling a lot of small pieces, this bloke used an old Dish Washer.

He disconnected the heater, routed the outlet hose back into the inlet. Then poured finishing oil into machine. I can't remember if the machine has a holding tank of sorts or the inlet and outlet hoses went into an container of oil.
But the idea is the same.
Place your pieces on the racks, tourn on the machine and the jets should give everything a nice coverage, and the oil will just be recycled through the dishwasher.

May just stir up the grey matter a bit

Dale, I said an OLD dishwasher.
I don't want any deaths of husbands on my hands, when they get discovered fiddling with the missus's machine in the kitchen. LOL

Do you have to wash the pieces by hand before you put them in the dish washer? HEHE

Talking

When I was in tha Navy and we had a party at the house we would fill the clothes washer full of beer and ice. When the beer was gone and the ice melted we'd put it on "spin" cycle and goodbye water!!
