Default Glow in the dark paint

I'm doing some things for my son's bedroom. As a matter of fact he's helping me. He's only 5 but he's already been bit by the scrollsaw bug. Every day this week he's asked to cut something out.

Anyway, a couple of the things he and I are cutting out would be too cool if they could glow in the dark. So what I'm wondering is if anyone knows if you can buy some glow in the dark paint. And if so, are there different colors.

Thanks guys.

Matt

I bought some at Michaels with their craft paints. I think most craft stores will have some.

Yes, as Lois stated, Micheals sells it. I think Wallyworld has it in their craft dept also, in those 2 ounce bottles. Dale

If you can find the clear photoluminescent paint you should be able to apply it over colors. I don't know how easy it is to find that stuff though. We used to use it on Navy ships over flourescent yellow paint to help mark doors and ladders if the lights were to go out. The stuff we used would glow for hours!

The clear stuff is awesome. I think I got mine from Michael's.

A few years ago we had a Halloween party and I took an old painting of a sailing ship that we got from a garage sale. I painted a torn up ghost ship over it and the word BEWARE,

The picture looked normal till we flashed a black light on it. then the image would appear, it would fade gradually over a few minutes and then return at the next flash.
