vinyl paint

I bought some vinyl paint but the thinner that i bought did not sem to work. Is this because i put to much of it or to little of the thinner in the paint.

To review:
- The maker of your paint should have given you specific information on the product as to what to use as a thinner or for clean up.

- A thinner just might be specific for the paint maker.

- Most scroll sawyers seldom use exotic finish material like vinyl paint. Acrylic, oil based? Yes. (my search for info showed vinyl paint to be about $24.00 USD for a small pint. Kind of $$)

BTW: Have you checked for other fish lure maker forums?
