Yesterday Eric's new panel saw arrived. It's an Altendorf F45 Elmo 4... it can take panels of 3.70m...

I saw a saw like this about 12 years ago. A guy came in to calibrate it. He went to his truck, brought out a wooden box and opened it. He took out the device, calibrated the machine and just as quick put it back in the box and replaced it in the truck. Seems as though the "calibrator" was a very expensive piece of equipment!

Congratulations on the purchase.

Frieke -- Thanks for the pictures. I love the contrast between the new high tech saw and the old hand saws hanging on the wall. Always nice to remember how the old timers did magic with wood using all hand tools.

The old hand saws were from his granddad..he had a furniture factory and learned Eric a lot... I hang them there to remember...
