Default looking for wood Texas

Hi, I'm new to Texas, Round Rock/Austin, and wanted to know if there are any other scrollers around here and were do you get your wood. I tried searching "saw mills" but pulled blanks. Any suggestions??

Default Texas Wood

I'm in Dallas and get mine on line and at Woodword, Woodcraft or Rockler locally. Not sure what's available down Austin way.

Welcome to Texas.

Bruce, that is a beautiful site, you suggested. It isn't easy finding wood to work with around Yuma, Az. We just don't have trees here, HA. Just desert. I usually order wood for my projects & finding a supplier close is not easy to do. Thanks.

Default Sources I have found in Austin

Howdy Scott:

I have found the following sources in Austin:
1. There is a woodcraft store on Research Blvd.
2. The Lowes by my house (South East Austin) has a really nice selection of "craft" woods. I can get poplar, red oak, and nice birch ply at that store.
3. I have mailed ordered as well without any trouble.

If you find another source, keep me in mind and I will do the same for you.
