Default Just cut

Hello scrollers
Yesterday we cut down an over sized lilac bush, I saved a few of the larger branches, and what I would like to know, is it too soon to turn a pen with one of the smaller branches? Do I have to let the branches dry out first?
Thanks

Wood Dog:

I am sure you will get more experienced comments soon, but I would always let wood season or dry before using.

I would let the wood dry. I have tried turning green wood for similar projects but have found when it dries out it will usaully split or warp. Just my two cents worth!
