Judy Gale uses mainly WRC in her intarsia projects. As with any wood, be safe and sensible, and you should be ok.

Wow! Both of those links contain a wealth of information! Thanks so much for sharing them. What it boils down to is that I will be wearing a mask from now on with any kind of wood. I've attached some pics and would still like to know what kind of cedar this is id anyone knows. The pheasant is what I'm working on and the feathers are cedar. Plus pics of the board. Thanks all! That looks a lot like western red cedar to me...I live out here...and if it's from an Idaho mill I'd almost guarantee it.

Wow! Thanks! Pheasant is finished but I haven't taken a pic to post yet. Will do and put in the bragging section since he was fun. That cedar is really light and was good to work with. As I said, I will have to get use to the mask tho. It just seems hot but maybe that's just cuz I'm hot stuff - LOL!! Anne
