Default Sheets of Acrylic

While I have been scrolling for a number of years I have never gone outside my comfort zone of wood. However, I keep finding some great looking plans that use acrylic either for the main peice or as a backing.

Does anyone know where I can buy Acrylic sheets? I'm in the Vancouver BC area and would perfer to go to a shop but I will order online if I need to.

thanks!

online you can buy it through Sloans woodshop, but I dont think they ship to Canada. Ebay sometimes has some , most of the sellers there ship to Canada. Otherwise, I am sorry, i cant be of much help.

Try building materials/lumber stores and also glass shops.

IIRC, Wildwood carries acrylic. You can also get it at most craft stores.

You can also check out plastics shops. TAP Plastics (tapplastics.com) carries acrylic sheets and ships to Canada. There may be similar local shops as well.

Hi Charise. I got mirrored Plexiglas from wilddwoods. and I also got some colored Plexiglas off eBay. if you go to eBay.com you can right Plexiglas glass or acrylic in the search line box. and all kinds of it will come up. you can also Google it. there is just tons of it out there. 1/8th, 1/4 and 1/2" thickness. hope this helps. your friend Evie
