Default Wood Filler

I have several dried up tubes of various color wood filler. Its dry as a dry can be. Is there a way to revive this stuff?

Hate when that happens.
So many jokes can be made here. So llittle time. LOL

In my experience, all you can do is throw it away. Sorry about that.

I just threw two tubes of mine away over the weekend. I used the tubes because they were easier to apply and alot less sanding in the end.

But I also have the clear plastic "cans?" with the screw on lids and they are still good to go but are older than the tubes so i guess that is what i will be buying from now on.

I was about to throw out 2 tubes and two cans I dropped a bit of MS into the two small cans of wood filler that I had. Two weeks later I checked on them as I was about to chuck them when I realized the stuff softened up a bit. I was able to even mix it to a heavy cream consistancy.

ITS ALIVE!!!!!!!

Worked on both cans.

The tubes I chucked so don't know if it would have saved them.

I was just going to say..Out of exasperation last week I added a teaspoon of ms to a dried up can and just set it back with the lid on..I was out making some ornaments today and opened the can and was able to mix it up enough that it seems to be revitalized..I made a couple of holes and filled em on a scrap hunk of wood ..I'll try and remember to let you know if it sticks or falls out...LOL
