Exclamation Thin boards

Hi all,
My name is Mike 2. I have been a member here for awhile but I have been doing a job that I now am forced to quit due to health. So I think that I will be much more active in my shop for the coming year. I am planning a trip to the west coast to get away for a bit. I am going to visit my family in Eugene,OR. I have some northern grown hardwoods that I have planed and sanded into thin wood and I was wondering if anyone in the west would perhaps be interested in looking at them. I have cherry, Maple, oak , butternut, ash, and a couple walnut boards. I don't know if anyone is in the market for hardwood now but if so give me a email and if you are not to far off the trail I maybe could meet up with you to just show you some beautiful boards.
wiwoodsguy@yahoo.com You all take care, Mike

Yeah I do have a bit of butternut some planed to thin wood. and some rough boards. some nice white basswood also. The only local hardwood I don't have much of right now is walnut. If there is a special thickness you need let me know.

Lots of walnut out here - be sure to check out CrossCut hardwoods and Tree Products hardwoods. hard to find anything thinner than 3/4" although crosscut does have 1/2". Most of the woods I use are 3/4" to 1" but I just got a book on boxes and they all seem to call for 1/2" and 1/4" for at least part of it. Butternut isn't something you usually find out here. I got a couple of boards at Tree Products that came accidentally in a batch of walnut. It's really nice to cut.

I just came in from the shop where I was planing and sanding some 10-11" butternut, cherry and birdseye maple boards. they ended up between 1/4'' and 5/16". Some really pretty woods. I am cutting the boards down to 3 foot so I can get them in the trunk of my car.

I have not been out to the coast in 20 years and I have 4 brothers and 3 sisters in Oregon. And I grew up on the Oregon coast and would like to see it one more time, and as I have time to get away I am taking a long overdue trip back home to the coast where I grew up.
