I just found out that the local supplier of the hardwood I use for my intarsia projects also stocks Baltic birch plywood. They charge 25.00 for a 5x5 sheet of 1/8". Is this reasonable or high? Not sure I have never bought the baltic birch before, but want to try it.

Clayton, That's pretty close to what I pay in Iowa. I get mine from the Woodsmith Store and pay $22 for a 5x5 sheet. I use alot of 1/8", it's real easy to cut. Linda |

I just wish I could buy it in this size , not around here you want buy it like that. I buy it in 12"by 12" sheets so I'm not real sure if this so good . My 1/8" sheets 12"by12" sheets sell for $1.32 a piece on sale .The things I make the 12"by12" seems to work just fine for me . And it comes from Sloans wood shop in Tenn. You be the judge ........... $25 seems a little high to me, but depending on your area, theres not much you can do, its not like you can go 3 blocks down the road and get it from the next walmart. Its $20 a sheet here in WI
