This is a link to a website that has pictures and info on all types of woods. You can see the different type and colors. Very helpful when your looking for that special color.
I'm just getting back into doing some Intarsia pictures for the winter. I try to use actual wood colors where possible. I find this site you posted to be very helpful. I buy the majority of my special "Exotic" wood from Exotic Woods Inc.
This is a Canadian site
