 |  Im always afraid of the damage that could be done with the metal sawdust on my saws, so never have cut metal, I imagine that dust getting into moving parts could eat the saw up fast, something I would rather not encounter, although, I may try it sometime on my crappy free noname saw a guy at work gave me, its prettymuch useless anyways, so I'll try it sometime too.

| With the sealed brgs on the Dewalt saw it was not something I worried about. But now with a new Dewalt, the old one will be for metal now. Alan. |
