Default Dog house again or still.

We do not have any good source of hard woods at home. So went to town today down here and bought 147 board feet of wood. Hickory, Black Walnut,Cherry,Padouk, Purple Heart,Poplar,Mahogany,Maple and Bass Wood.
So I don't think we will be going on that jet boat ride on saturday.Actully she was with me , but the total was a bit of a shock.
Can't wait to get home and make fire wood with it. Not sur if I can stop at Grizzly Tools on the way home though, wanted to get another drum sander.

A very happy camper If I can find a spare couch.LOL Alan

Not too sure about getting it across the border. They really questioned the saddle rack and Santa Paws that I brought down, The did not seem to belive they were gifts. Can't imagine why!

Alan, I understand. My wife will let me buy anything I want as long as she gets to throw something out and I complete a project for her. The more wood or tools I buy, the more she throws out and the more projects I have to complete. So far (46+ years) I have been kept.

G'day Alan,
Baaaaaaaaaaaaaad Move, taking the War Office with you to do secret men's business.

If she hadn't been there, you could have just found it all in a skip LOL

At least you will have the material to build a nice looking Dogs' house if it comes to that.

Nice haul but I can totally relate your problem. I bought 'too many tools' and now I am doing a kitchen. :-(

Yikes 147 board feet. YEOW and you are still alive. Had that been me, even with the wife being there. She would have ripped my implanted defibrillator out and zap me with it.
mmmmm, 147 board feet......it would have been worth it.

WOW, I'd kill for that kind of budgetary indulgment. I have to self-fund any tools or wood investment.
