Default Walnut Supplier

Hi All,
I am looking for recommendations for a walnut supplier. I am looking for boards already cut to thickness (3/4, 1/2 or 1/4)

Thanks.

Chris

Chris, try your yellow pages for lumber yards. A few of them may carry woods other than oak, maple, poplar and cherry. A few phone calls may just do the trick. If they don't carry walnut, they may be able to tell you who does. That's how I found a supplier in my neck of the north Jersey woods.

I agree, try the yellowpages. Thats where I found a local supplier. Walnut is very hard to find around here for some reason. Many places will plane down to the thickness you want.

I have had very good luck with this company:

Quality Lumber at Affordable Prices! Hardwood Lumber for all your woodworking needs!

If you dont mind buying wood online.

I have bought walnut from them several times.

I highly recommend Sloans's Woodshop. I've been buying lumber from them for a while now. Cheap and fast. And supernice people.
