Although it's usually called plywood, it's really Veneered particle board. I found it difficult to cut, the blade tore through the wood and required a lot of control, the edges went very dark when finished. I only used it on one project and vowed I would never use it again, the left over pieces are still in the scrap bin.
That's my 2¢ worth

| That sounds like the crap they use in cheap furniture. I agree with Marsha, and would use it to build a box for scrap.

| You will most likely be disappointed in it.It cuts ok,but uses more blades, and the super thin veneer on it will tend to chip off pretty easily. Also, the fragile areas will be super fragile as theres really no structure within the core. And, when it comes to finishing, you will be amazed at how much finish the center will suck up.

| I have hear it called Luna board. Used for door skins. I have used it, not crazy over it. Like Dale said it chips a lot. I use it for backing on portraits..

| Despise the stuff. Chips easily, drinks finish, very dark edges, eats blades.
