| Frames If someone were to decide to make their own frames, where would they go to buy supplies?
I've surfed the net and everything I find is somewhat pricey.

| I'm not sure what supplies you're referring to Chase. I bought my miter saw from Tool King and I get my wood from a local lumber yard. I have about 10 of these clamps that I purchased from my local Woodcraft. I use one of these for installing the framing points. I had purchased mine at Woodcraft but it appears they no longer carry them.
That's about everything I use along with the router and different bits for shaping and a dado blade in the table saw for cutting the rabbets.

| Thanks for the info Kevin. I'm more interested in buying ready made framing by the foot.

| Chase, there is a frame supply store near me that has just about anything you could ever want for making frames. There are all sizes and styles. First run and second run frame pieces from about 4 feet long to about 18 to 20 feet long. Check and see if there isn't a store near you thats about the same. I make a frame now and then but most of the time I buy them from a craft supply store close by. I can buy them cheaper than I can make them most of the time. Good luck, David |

| You can also use molding from the BORG, but you do have to cut the rabbets. Even if you don't have a tablesaw, you can cut them with a router.

| Ahh, ok. That be the expensive route. Rockler has several different kinds of molding in 4 ft. lengths.
I think this one would more suit what you're looking for though.

| Chase, I get my frame stock from Menards which is similar to Home Depot here in the midwest. The Home Depot here does not carry it. Menards has several different widths, styles and rabbet depths in unfinished or finished oak or pine in 8' lengths. Try local lumber yards.
