Default 1/4" plywood

I went out to 1 of the web cites above and they have 1/4" plywood with an MDF center. Anyone ever try it? Sounds like it would be real stable but do you think it would be "sound" enough for real intricate work? Scott in Arizona

I have used that before, H/D calls it Luna board. I didn't like it because it to fragile when you get down to long narrow cuts close to each other. I have some nice cutting from it that are not to complicated. Price is a little better than ply wood, no voids. A contractor Friend of mine said he uses it to resurface interior doors.
