Default Woops - too cool

I needed a piece of 3/8 BB for the gear clock and not wanting to drive to the store I decided to surface plane a piece of 1/2 BB. Much to my pleasant surprise when I got into the secondary wood look what I got and it is as smooth as baby's butt. I cant wait to figure out a project for it.

Now I have to plane another piece. If they keep coming out with great grain patterns I may be doing this for a while.

Could be a good background for a layerscape or cut fretwork of a Wolf or Bear.

You guys are really brutal, and a little warped, you really know how to hurt a guy.
