Smile Scroller from Monroe, WI.

Hi,

I started scrolling last May when my wife thought I needed a hobby and looking at craft shows this caught my interest the best. I have scrolled names for people and designs off my computer using word art and print master programs. I would add a base to them to connect the letters. I have used other patterns from Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts. I also try to use wood carving tools to create different styles with my scroll sawing projects.

Since I am limited in space in my garage, I am designing a mobile work bench where the center of the work bench is adjustable so that my scroll saw, band saw, disc sander/belt sander, and other bench top tools' table would be level with the work bench top to have area to work with.

My career is a professional semi driver for Frito Lay. So I figure with may career and hobby it is my responsibility to make everybody "chipper".

Thanks for listening. This is a fantastic web site and people to be with. God bless you.

JTM

Monroe, WI?

Yum-mm-mm; Good Cheese. Damm Good Cheese.

Welcome.

Now, let's see, SSW&C magazine is located almost in the heart of the Pennsylvania cheese country..
and every fall SSW&C has an open house / picnic ...

and you drive a semi...

Oh, I can taste it now, Wisconsin VS Pennsylvania cheese makers offering a cheese sample taste contest....

Yea, and we need a couple of "unbiased" judges for the cheese taste off though....

Wait, our UK members, they would be unbiased for US cheese makers, right?
So, we somehow get the Cheese makers of WI and PA to pay the air fare for a couple of Volunteers judges....

.....Hmmm needs some thought {drool, slurp, ..., drool}

Gosh isn't good to live in a fantasy world like mine...

Phil

Welcome to the forum - I grew up not far north of you, and knew a few "Cheesemakers" basketball players in high school. Good to know someone else living in God's Country.
